1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Account Information: If you sign in using a custody wallet, we collect and store account credentials and manage wallet infrastructure on your behalf.
  • Wallet Address: If you connect your own blockchain wallet, we receive your public wallet address. We do not have access to your private keys or seed phrases.
  • Communications: If you contact us via email or other channels, we collect the information you provide in those communications.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Cookies & Local Storage: We use cookies, localStorage, and similar technologies as described in our Cookies Policy.

1.3 Blockchain Data

Lucky Races is an on-chain game. When you interact with our smart contracts, your transactions are recorded on the Ethereum blockchain. This data is publicly visible and permanently recorded by the nature of blockchain technology. We do not control and cannot delete on-chain data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Process game interactions and display race results
  • Identify your account or wallet for gameplay purposes (lobbies, races, leaderboards)
  • Improve and optimize the Service
  • Analyze usage trends and user behavior
  • Communicate with you about the Service, updates, or support requests
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following cases:

  • On-Chain Data: Your wallet address and game interactions are publicly visible on the blockchain. This is inherent to on-chain games and not something we control.
  • Service Providers: We may share data with third-party service providers who assist in operating the Service (hosting, analytics, infrastructure). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Data Retention

We retain off-chain data for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. You may request deletion of your off-chain data by contacting us.

On-chain data (transactions, smart contract interactions) is permanently recorded on the blockchain and cannot be modified or deleted by us or anyone else.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you use your own external wallet, you are responsible for securing your private keys and seed phrases. We recommend using hardware wallets and enabling all available security measures.

  • Deletion: Request deletion of your off-chain personal data

Please note that these rights apply only to off-chain data. On-chain data is immutable and publicly accessible by design.

6.1 GDPR (European Economic Area)

If you are located in the EEA, our legal bases for processing your data include your consent, contractual necessity (providing the Service), and our legitimate interests (improving the Service, preventing fraud). You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

6.2 CCPA (California)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at the address below.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., block explorers, NFT marketplaces). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
